During this time of uncertainty, the association has been, and will continue to follow guidelines setout by the OWHA, and all levels of government.

For up to date bulletins from the OWHA please visit their site at :

Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, we will be postponing our Annual General Meeting (“AGM”). The direction we have been given from the Government of Ontario, Hockey Canada and the OWHA is deadlines for not-for-profit organizations like ours to hold their AGMs has been extended to 90 days after the state of emergency is ended by the Ontario government. Once the state of emergency has been lifted, we will give the HGHA membership 30 days’ notice of the new date of the upcoming AGM. The OWHA will recognize the authority of the current Executive and any operational documents will remain in place to manage the operations of the league until such time as next AGM is held.

As we enter the 2020-2021 season , we ask that all members of the HGHA community be especially mindful of our responsibility to create an environment that is welcoming to all, where each person feels accepted, valued and safe. We all share in the responsibility to create a positive culture and to safeguard equity, inclusion, dignity, and respect for all. Each member of the HGHA community—Executive , Team staff and players —should be a role model for others.

We hope that everyone is safe, healthy and doing well.

We also hope to see everyone again once this crisis has passed.

Thank you

Hamilton Hawks Girls Hockey Association

The Hamilton Girls Hockey Association offers divisions ranging from Pre-Novice age 5 years old right up to Intermediate age 21 years old.  Our association is split into two categories. House League and Rep (or competitive).  Our house league divisions play various centers in the surrounding Hamilton area, such as Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Flamborough, and is a great way for female athletes to learn about team play and most importantly fun.  All leagues in Ontario are governed by the Ontario Women's Hockey Association.

Our rep system is a travel league that competes in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League.

Contact the HGHA today and join in on the fun and excitement girls hockey has to offer.

Registration for the 2020-2021 Season Update

Our registration for both house league and competitive hockey will be available soon. Due to COVID-19, we will be accepting registrations for the 2020-2021 season, but will not be collecting any fees at this time.
