U13 HL Practices with Hamilton Sledgehammers

Hamilton Hawks U13 House League team had the opportunity to practice with the Hamilton Sledgehammers at Inch Park the other day. 

Due to tournament cancellations, Coach Linda thought it would be a fun outing for her team.

The Sledgehammers were kind enough to show the U13 HL team how to successful proper themselves and shoot from a sitting position. Little did the Hawks know how difficult and tiring sledge hockey is on your arms.

To end the practice on a good note, the girls and the Sledgehammers scrimmaged. As the scrimmage went on, Coach Linda noted "I spent most of my time flipping the girls who fell over!"

Such an eye opening experience for these young athletes.
