Head Coach Mentorship Hamilton Hawks Mentorship is an ongoing, trusting, personal relationship between highly qualified (mentor) and a coach. Through directed learning activities and self-discovery, a coach, with the support of a mentor coach, can confidently deal with the many challenges of the coaching environment. This mentoring process will enable the coach to become more successful in all aspects of coaching. The goal of the Hamilton Hawks Coaches Development Program is to provide a high level of instruction for all Coaches within our organization to help them improve their overall skills on and off the ice and contribute to their long term development. Duties of the Head Coach will include being part of the coaches selection process along with being a reliable source of support and guidance for Hawks coaches. The Head coach will Mentor Coaches and will have the freedom to work with his assigned coaches on a mutually agreed schedule that works for all parties involved.
